On June 19, 2026, First Medic had the privilege of delivering Basic Life Support (BLS) training at Nerisa Clinic in Jimbaran — in partnership with LAFKESPRI, Indonesia’s clinic accreditation body.
What Is LAFKESPRI?
LAFKESPRI is a recognized accreditation institution in Indonesia responsible for evaluating and certifying the readiness of healthcare clinics across the country. Their accreditation program goes beyond administrative compliance — it ensures that every accredited clinic is genuinely equipped to respond to life-threatening emergencies, including sudden cardiac arrest.
Why BLS Training Matters for Clinics
Cardiac arrest can happen anywhere — including inside a clinic. Every second counts, and without trained staff ready to act, the outcome can be fatal. BLS training equips healthcare personnel with critical skills:
- Recognizing the signs of cardiac arrest and respiratory failure
- Performing high-quality CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
- Using an Automated External Defibrillator (AED) correctly
- Applying the Chain of Survival to maximize patient outcomes
